YOUR BABY is 11 WEEKS OLD
how they grow • Babies are doing a lot of developing this week, and they may be fussy, clingy and shy. The good news is that most will go through a calm spell in about two weeks.
• Babies at this stage are fascinated by their hands and researchers have found that they may spend two-thirds of their waking time playing with them.
• When he’s sitting with support, your baby is starting to hold his head steady; he may also be able to do mini pushups when he’s on his tummy.
I have been taking my own notes of his developments each week. This is what has happened. Carter started smiling at the music sounds of the jumperoo, started drooling way more than normal, memorized by watching tv. he seems to like action movies and hockey. Learned how to make his bottom lip curl into a sad face but smiles afterwards lol.
11 weeks old --started playing with hands, started to grab mommys hair ALOT, giggled longer than he had before: )
All 3 of us had a nice mothers day. Dan let me sleep in and woke me up by putting carter in a I Love Mommy onesie and putting him in my arms and gave me a card. He took us out to on the border for a nice lunch and then took us to get mine and carters handprints cemented together! its so cute. i'll have to take a picture when the cement is dry. Then all of us came back and took a 3 hour nap together and then took these pictures outside on our hammock! It was the best 1st mothers day : ) Thanks Carter
